After almost two years since the time I've created this blog, here I am again!
All I have for today is a promise: I'll try to do a better job as a blogger!
I've today visited a few new friends' blog, and they too are working family people, so I asked myself, is it really so hard to do this?  Well, maybe, but the least I could do is try!
I also will put up the few completed works I did, will publish my unfinished projects' photos so maybe I'll feel more motivated to keep on working on them, and for now that's all I got!

  1. I look forward to admiring your works. I bet they're great!
I read your story, it sounds so sad but I can see you have a great determination!

  2. Life without determination is hard!! I tried all morning to put up some of the completed works pictures, that's when I realized: "I wish I knew how to manage a blog!". Yours look so beautiful, I guess I need to make time to go through the tutorials. I think this blog I opened more as an afternoon passtime will actually motivate me to cross stitch more, I went over the blogs (yours and the onoes you follow) and saw all the great completed works and I was so amazed at the amount of finished projects! I cannot match up! And some of the completed works are actually patterns I have but did not start and one is a UFO (The romantic stitcher) that, once I saw it finished, made me wonder why I put it aside!
Anyways I'll always thank the lady at Casa Cenina for showing me your blog! Ciao, a presto!

  3. I've so many projects you can't imagine, actually. So many that I suppose they're will be only projects.
    Who's this lady from CasaCenina?
I read you buy at ABCStitchTherapy but Casacenine is cheaper and 123Stitch.com the cheapest but the customs are so expensive!

  4. I felt that ABC was cheaper since I was buying in dollars, but you're right, custom taxes are awfully high! And the shipping fees are a pain too, but I really like that site! And also, when I saw the virtual tour of the store they were into before (they moved recently) I fell in love with it too, it had a corner with a fireplace where people would sit and stitch... a dream store, MY dream store if I would ever want to have one! Anyways, after a few buys I realized it was better to look close to home, although I do not know how is it in your area, but around here it's not that easy to find a well stocked store, there is one that I use that has a good choice of cloth and floss, it's expensive but close to home, but if you're looking for a stitching frame or a specific size needle (I prefer the ones that normally come with american kits which are smaller) then I'm out of luck here! Casa Cenina seems to be perfect for me, but still I'll have to pay for shipping fees... I know 123 but never shopped there. Do you have these kind of shops there where you live?

  5. Yes I have, but I don't buy there because they're too much expensive. Now I've just found a shop in the middle of "Zona mercato", but it's only for fabrics. I know in that area there's also a shop with not very expensive Dmc and Anchor threads, but on ebay you can find some sellers with very cheap prizes.
But generelly I buy everything at Casacenina. Please, who's the lady on Casacenina who talked about me to you? I'm so curious!
