Just to show that I still remember my mothertongue, here I am writing in italian!  But, like my new friend from the "Fiori e Crocette" blog I'll write in what I consider both my languages.
Since I got the link of the previously named blog and i got to explore the blogs she follows I felt more energized than I felt lately, I spent some time yesterday examining my started projects that are standing there looking at me like puppy awaiting caresses, and yesterday more than ever I would have liked to have many hands to ba able to work on them all!  I had started bigger projects, and not one but three big ones and one smaller for the times the bigger ones felt... well, to big! I started Cherished Memories from HAED

(I love HAED because it sends you the charts immediately in PDF format and since i do not like to wait for the postal services times that's ideal, but onhte other hand it's also a problem for a compulsive shopper like me) but I'm afraid I used the wrong kind of cloth: I love the aida cloth 18, since I haven't got the best eyesight, but with such a big project (400 x 319 stitches) it came out extremely big and I can work on it only on the couch all for myself (when is that?) or on the bed (who sees it if not at sleeping time?), I even had to buy orizontal rods specifically for it!, Then, just to complicate my life some more, I saw this great chart, (The Dreamer" by carlet Quince
whose colors captured me, but what I did not consider was the fact that SQ mixes the colors with a great finishing effect, but it shortens my already sparing time!  Then, since I do not appreciate confetti stitch anymore and this one has quite a few, always on HAED I found this one:
that really has VERY FEW confetti stitches, so for a while it was my main project and also the first one I started on the smallest aida cloth, the 78 (or so called by the shop owner), which allowed me to use the orizontal rods I luckily already had!  In the meantime though from the USA, from this shop I always use called ABCStitch therapy (from where, ironically, I found Casa Cenina!) I received teh complete set for the Romantic Stitcher

Ciao!
and the fever for "starting something new!!" went up!
So the first one was started and then stopped a couple of months later, the second was started and then stopped a few weeks later, the third and forth ones I worked on for a couple of months, then I experienced "the block", that one you know when it comes but not when it goes away, so I grabbed my crochet because if I don't do something with my hands I would die, but even though I was missing cross stitching i couldn't get back to none of htem, then I saw some american quilts' pictures and immediately came to mind my projects of one day to make a quilt all in cross stitch since I cannot saw that much, so I started some test quilt/cross stitch models of the amish star that I cannot show you because I did not talke any pictures yet (next time hopefully) but from there it went downhill: I grabbed The Teamaker's Saughter!  Then, after exploring all those blogs, I got some stitches on the Romantic Stitcher, tonight I'd like to get some to The Dreamer, and I studied Cherished Moments a little and I decided to restart it on the smaller aida cloth (luckily I did not complete many pages!) and maybe I'll not do the first ald last pages of the chart to make it a little faster to complete but I'll leave the space anyway in case for a miracle more time comes out and I do want to do htem! So thank you all of you even if you do not know, busy girls that show the works in progress or completed in your blogs and become an example for those like me that yes, have not much time, but waste that little time in worthless blocks!!
Whenever possible I'll take pictures of my started puppies and i believe it will be nice and worthwhile to see the made progresses on the blog!
Ciao!
